The Promag AMP600 is a compact reader for standard 13.56MHz Mifare transponders (ISO-15693) that can be used in special retail security and rental systems, securing samples in laboratories and more. The professional device reads and writes information of 16 tags simultaneously and is therefore suitable for a wide variety of special applications in POS, in video stores, for security, laboratories and others. The tags may not only contain a serial number, but have a small database included, e.g. to keep track of changing data value over a longer period of time. Its thin design makes it perfect for stationary installation, e.g. at a cash desk or counter. Your customer simply has to attach a transponder to his objects using labels or tags. The high-performance aerial can read up to 16 tags within a distance of 30cm. Thus, expensive goods (like jewellery), laboratory items (like assays) or media (like DVDs) can be secured against theft, easily tracked and updated with data automatically.
An enormous speed of less than 24ms per tag allows the reader to distinguish the tags perfectly and avoid erroneous readings. At the same time the device can also write data to the tags, e.g. to store experimental results or rental history. The serial interface (RS232, RS485) guarantees seamless integration into existing systems and the two metre aerial cable offers your technical persons highest flexibility during installation. - Special-purpose RFID reader
