The Promag PCR-942 is a stationary RFID reader with serial interface for surface mounting. Use it as an access control terminal, a time clock or as a personal identification system. Serial data transmission makes the device perfect for a universal and smooth integration of RFID technology into various applications. Every successful reading process is confirmed by the terminal with both, an acoustic and a visual signal (LED). Programme the PCR-942 individually - all control commands are listed and explained in detail in the provided user manual. The maximum tag data length of ten hexadecimal characters that is sent to the serial interface can be individually limited.
The PCR-942 is capable of detecting all 125 kHz transponders that comply with the EM4102 standard. It also features an extra port for additional input devices like a magnetic stripe reader.
