There are situations, countries or environments that demand so much more. In the event that people become part of these extreme scenarios they need tools and equipment to be able to perform the jobs they are intended to perform. Unitech's PA800 is the right tool at the right place when it comes to data identification in the most bizarre and ever-demanding applications you can imagine.
Brute force device The PA800 is an ultra-rugged industrial grade PDA and purpose-built for the most challenging applications. It features an amazing IP68 environmental sealing and 1.8 meter drop threshold. The PA800 will perform in the harshest environments such as forestry, mining, military and any rough field service or cold store logistics applications. Matching the MIL-STD-810 military standard for drops, vibration, humidity, altitude and extreme temperatures, the PA800 won't let your mobile worker down, no matter what.
Efficiency in any remote area of the world The PA800 is equipped with a powerful 624MHz processor, GPS and 2.5G WWAN modem. It allows your worker to collect valuable data in the field, trace locations and send it instantly to the back office administrator or contractor, wherever they might be. In forestry the worker can identify which trees need to be cut down with reason why and location. Managers are able to track and trace valuable inventory such as loaders, tree cutters and other heavy duty equipment used in the different target markets of the PA800. In the unlikely event that the worker has no data signal in the field, data can be stored on the PA800 and send to back office when a Wi-Fi hotspot is nearby, utilizing the safe CCX4-certified WLAN radio. Capable of resisting extreme temperatures of -30°C to 60°C and equipped with a large 3.5"VGA screen and laser barcode scanner, the PA800 is also very suitable to perform any job in cold storages or in very cold or hot mining areas. Smooth operation The PA800 comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 and 128MB RAM and 576 MB ROM internal memory, which smoothens operation of the device. To optimize productivity, the PA800 can be powered with a dual battery pack system for extended device uptime. This allows an operator to stay in business for a full day shift. The device also supports SDHC for increased storage capacity to safeguard your data. The robust designed keys ensure data is entered easily without costly errors.
