Super premium applications, Resin quality : AXR®High resistance and durability These product ranges are reserved for extremely demanding applications. The product of high technology, Armor's resin ribbon ranges are particularly recommended for synthetic media (PE, PP, PET). Their performance resides in their resistance capacity : mechanical strength, resistance to temperature variations, solvents, and detergents. Some are adapted for specific applications (printing on textiles for example). Ideal for all Datamax Industrial Printers: I-Class I-4208, M-Class M-4208, 4306 and H-Class H-4212 AXR 7+ is dedicated to applications requiring a perfect printing quality and excellent mechanical resistances. The ink provides excellent print quality of all types of barcodes, very small text and large characters, and logos, at a blackness above 1.7 (ODR). The ribbon structure allows printing on many kinds of synthetics (PVC, PET, PE, PP), on various matt and high scratch resistance, and good heat resistance, up to 180 °C (356 °F).
Those characteristics remain at speeds up to 250 mm/s (10 ips), and with 200, 300 and 600 DPI printheads, making this ribbon perfectly suited to the labeling market, and allowing its use in the flexible packaging printing market. AXR 7+ features Armor's outstanding backcoat technology ensuring excellent printhead protection, no clogging and prevents static build up.
