| Metrologic / Honeywell MS7180 OrbitCG Omni-Directional Scanner | |
|
OrbitCGTM provides a stylish solution for omnidirectional and menu-scanning applications where counter space is at a premium.
The Metrologic OrbitCGTM combines the power of patented CodeGate® technology with many of the outstanding features already found in the Orbit®(model 7120) - the all-time, best-selling smallomnidirectional hands-free scanner.
With the push of single button, CodeGate technology augments OrbitCGTM's patented 20-line aggressive scan pattern with a single-line mode ideal for targeted or menu scanning.
This innovative, elegant and affordable solution to convenience retail applications also safeguardsvlong-term infrastructure commitments.
In the event of a change in POS system or software, OrbitCGTM easily updates firmware via its patented MetroSet®2 configuration software - provided freeby Metrologic. Use either a USB or RS232 interface to perform configuration updates.
Based on the original Orbit's (model #7120)award-winning design, OrbitCGTM's shape enables hand-held scanning of large, bulky items. For added flexibility, the scanning head can be tilted within a 30° range to accommodate objects of various sizes and shapes.
Standard features include an EAS antenna integration for tag deactivation, power savemode, data editing, OPOS/JPOS compatibility for easy installation and user-replaceable cables. | | | | | | |

About EPOS Barcode Scanners | | An EPOS Barcode Scanner (also known as a Projection Barcode Scanner / Omni-Directional Barcode Scanner ) works just like a Laser Barcode Scanner with the addition of several mirrors and other reflective devices to transform one laser line into many, all at different angles. This allows fast reading of barcodes at any angle, making an Omni-Directional Barcode Scanner perfect for point of sale installations, such as at a grocery store. |
