The LCD display allows easy readability of as many as 10 lines of information. Three-key operation permits user definable functions to be created and stored to simplify repetitive tasks.

The memory is large enough to accommodate an entire day of scanning. An integral real-time clock enables each record to be tagged with a date/time stamp for accuracy.

Wireless communication

The Opticon OPL9724 features IrDA and Bluetooth wireless communication, which permits cable free portability. Collect your information in a remote location such as a store or warehouse and return to your desired device such as a PDA or mobile printer for wireless download of your data via IrDA or Bluetooth. Various cradles are available providing different communication and charging options. The IrDA interface within the cradle allows data transfer when the scanner is inserted for charging. The multiple station cradle permits charging of up to 5 terminals simultaneously.

These portable devices are used in conjunction with an application program to gather information from usually barcoded or tagged items. We supply units with and without barcode scanners, with CE, Pocket PC Windows Mobile (2003 & 2005) or DOS based operating systems and a wide range of keyboards, displays and supporting accessories. These terminals can have diffrent scanning technologies including CCD, Laser, 1D, 2D, Imager, RFID.
