Our History
Established in 2012, 51T was initially introduced due to requirements of a number of high profile National transport organisations.
We quickly identified that providing efficient device charging as an integral part of the complete investment in mobile technology proved a difficult endeavour for most – often resulting with frequent performance inconsistency and life span issues.
Despite mobile devices today being manufactured to extremely high specifications, in order to meet real challenges within some modern operational environments there exists a significant issue linked to charging and maintenance of handheld devices within a rugged environment.
This has resulted in significant losses to consumer and has forced many of the major organisational users of rugged devices forced to view charging cradles as a consumable item rather than a depreciating component of the overall investment.
This evident gap in the market allowed 51T to fully research and continually develop rugged environment products, doing so year on year.  This has led to becoming the manufacturer of choice for many of the market leaders.
