Labelmate MC-PRO Label Rewinder and Unwinder with automatic tension controlO is an intelligent label rewinder and unwinder designed for professional printing environments and offers the flexibility to operate as either a rewinder or an unwinder. The device automatically detects the required operating mode and immediately adapts to changes in the speed of the connected printer as well as to back-feeding cycles. This makes the MC-PRO particularly suitable for use with mid-range and industrial printers, as well as RFID, colour inkjet and printing systems with verification functions.

Labelmate MC-PRO Label Rewinder and Unwinder with automatic tension control has Smart Tension Control. It detects even the smallest changes in web tension and compensates for them through finely tuned motor adjustments. As a result, the rewinder operates without visible overshooting or oscillation and follows printer activity smoothly and precisely. The consistent tension also ensures uniformly wound, tightly packed label rolls that are ready for direct use with applicators or in downstream production processes. 

Operation requires just one button: Smart Tension Control automatically compensates for the increasing roll diameter, adapts to the printing speed and controls the motor independently. The MC-PRO handles label media with widths of up to 110 mm, roll diameters of up to 220 mm and roll weights of up to 4 kg. Matching alignment plates are also available for optimum positioning alongside different printer models, including various Toshiba and Epson printers.
