The keyboard has 147 variably configurable and programmable key positions. These are not arranged in a linear matrix directly below one another common to other POS keyboards, but rather are offset in typewriter layout and are fitted with one, two, three and fourfold keys or key caps as desired. A set of single keys is included in the scope of delivery. The keyboard meets all current ergonomic standards and is dust and splashproof on the front.
>In the basic version, the device has an integrated 3-track magnetic stripe reader for scanning credit, EC or customer cards. All keys can be easily replaced with the help of a special key remover and then programmed using a menu with the programming software included in the delivery. Moreover, all keyboards feature 4 LEDS MSR, Num Lock, Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, a standard PS/2 interface and are height adjustable. The innovative Flash Ram electronics allow the Firmware to be easily updated when needed. The keyboard works with all operating systems.
