The RWM-600 is available either as separate module or as fully functional kit for immediate use that includes all required parts The development kit includes the add-in reader/writer with serial port RS232 or RS485, an aerial and of course demo software with many functions. The system is located on an add-on board and has a SUB-D port for data access, a standard aerial port and jack socket for power supply.

The device uses the open protocol standard GNet Plus for which various tools and development kits are available. The provided software demonstrates exactly how access and data manipulation of smart labels works. It is provided as a binary version as well as source code in Visual Basic 6 and C. Furthermore, the package contains communication libraries that are used to integrate the hardware into different operating systems and programming languages.
