With a resolution of 203 dpi 8 dots/mm the L-42D produces clean printouts of text, 1D and 2D barcodes, as well as graphics and logos. The next model after the standard version has a resolution of 300 dpi 12 dots/mm for applications where even higher print quality is necessary. Included in the delivery is the full version of label design software, which allows you to easily create your own labels. Select existing designs or create new, customized design patterns. The connectivity options offered by the Metapace - triple interface USB, serial and parallel interface, open up numerous possibilities for installation. Optionally receive the L-42D with integrated Ethernet print server instead of the parallel interface. Using a USB dongle you can realize with this version even with 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connections, which opens up a wide range of applications.
Replace all consumables quickly and easily. The lid of the L-42D is easy to open up, then insert the label roll and close the lid again. Pressure on the feed button does the rest, so that tedious threading, etc. is not necessary. The maximum roll diameter of 130 mm is so generous that you maximize uptime through uninterrupted long-term use. The L-42D has automatic media detection and processes many different materials, such as continuous paper, stacked media, rolls with Gap and Black Mark, and much more.
Also easy to replace is the platinum roller. A simple click system makes the change with two simple hand movements, without ever having to turn a screw. To increase functionality, Metapace offers versions with optional auto cutter and peeler. Drivers for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Seagulls BarTender simplify operation, since the L-42D supports numerous operating systems.
