Chipdrive Time Recording - already more than 40,000 small and medium-sized companies use this cost-effective but convenient solution to collect data on employee working hours. Every employee receives a personalised smart card and uses it like a conventional clock card. A small portable or stationary smart card reader is used as a time clock and buffers all incoming data. The included software controls and analyses the data leave time, flexitime, absences, project timetables and special rules - everything is under your control
Our starter kit includes all modules required for 25 employees - portable smart card reader, software and user cards - everything is included. If required, it can be easily expanded for up to 100 employees.
As every module is available on its own, you also can order individual solutions or expand your existing Chipdrive Time Recording system as you wish.
All components work together smoothly, so that time recording and evaluation are a piece of cake for any user. This is mainly due to its extraordinary software. Unlike many other time recording systems, Chipdrive Time Recording offers more than just rudimentary functions for data import. Leaves, working hours and breaks do not have to be calculated in Excel tables any longer. The supplied software completes all these functions on its own.
Data storage The Chipdrive Time Recording System is based on an independent set of files in a shared folder that can be moved to any drive in your network. A data base is not necessary - additional installations and adjustments are obsolete.
Furthermore, you can use automatic backup functions for the collected data ZIP package optionally available.
Data control Use a powerful search function to find incomplete data and view all data and processes in a single window.
Accounting period The standard accounting period equals one calendar month. If target times are used, it is automatically transferred as flexitime. If required, you also can use other accounting periods, like weekly, fortnightly, bi-monthly, monthly with individual beginning day.
Time round-ups The clock time can be rounded up to 5, 10 or 15 minutes. The following options are available arithmetic rounding, round up always, round down always, always in favour of the employer, always in favour of the employee.
Target times Working hours can be categorised in weekly working hours, daily working hours including from-to entries, core hours for extra weekdays, monthly working hours with or without holidays, or no target time temporary workers.
Automatic breaks Breaks can be divided into up to three fixed breaks or one variable break of relative length to the duration of attendance.
Flexitime transfer Use the following options for flexitime without limits, always zero, maximum value, deduct fixed value if possible and transfer remaining.
Leaves - sickness absences - extra holidays Every employee has a graphical calendar for leaves, sick-leaves and extra holidays.
Alternatively, you also can change the entries in the viewing window.
Holiday schedule Use the supplied software to display a global week view of all employees days of absence. Simply click on the next item in the menu or enter year, month and week directly in order to switch to the desired week. Employees without entries can be easily excluded from the list view. The printed holiday schedule corresponds to options on the screen. The annual view with holidays of all employees can be exported into MS Excel files.
The software includes hardware components that make time recording instantly possible every employee receives an individual smart card with ID and basic personnel data allocated by the software. This card is used for starting and finishing time or project changes - simply insert it into the Chipdrive Mobile and the time is recorded instantly.
For processing, all collected data is copied to a special transport card with the press of a button. Import the data from this transport card to the PC with the included Chipdrive card reader and process it with the supplied software. The following components are included in the starter kit

Record the time with this very convenient portable device. The reader buffers up to 1,200 entries. The device is operated with batteries and features a large display for date and time as well as time clock information.
Use the keypad to enter individual project numbers. A menu-driven interface makes operation of the device easy.
Every device has a specific ID that allows several Chipdrive Mobile 910 devices to be used in groups.
Wall-mounting The wall-mounting is installed in a few steps. Simply insert the Chipdrive Mobile 910 device in this wall-mounting to turn it into a stationary wall terminal. In order to prevent theft and manipulation, a special key is necessary to remove it from the wall-mounting.
Transport Card Use this storage card to collect data from the Chipdrive Mobile 910. Once on the card, the data can be easily transferred to your PC and then evaluated.

This smart card reader is used for reading transport cards at your PC. It is also used to create individual employee cards.
User Cards Every employee receives such a user card to login and logout for working and project hours - all data is stored in the Chipdrive Mobile 910.
