KOAMTAC KDC470/475 ready attaches to ANY Smartphone or Tablet

Modular barcode scanners with high durability and adaptable for the connection of intelligent devices is very robust with IP65 certification, impact-resistant from 1.5 m and equipped with a 1D laser, 1D CCD or 2D imager and support Android, iOS, Mac OS X or Windows. KOAMTAC long-wearing KDC470 and KDC475 scanners enable users in the industry and warehousing to capture 1D/2D barcodes reliably and quickly, if required also RFID tags . Therefore, various scanner variants with a 1D laser, a 1D CCD or a 2D imager are available for this purpose. The S-laser has the highest scanning range of up to 483 mm distance with a 20 mil Code128 barcode. Also, the modular scanners convince with high durability: they are completely protected against the penetration of dust and water jets according to IP65 standards. Plus, they easily survive multiple falls from of up to 1.5 m.

In order to make it possible to combine almost all intelligent devices (such as a smart watch or smart glasses) with the KDC470 and KDC475 scanners, KOAMTAC has equipped them with a specially designed housing. This technically advanced, modular design allows the devices to be easily upgraded without changing the scanning characteristics.

Further equipment of the scanners includes a powerful 1,130 mAh lithium-ion battery that is easily charged via the micro USB connection or via the charging station. Additionally, KOAMTAC offers an innovative charging case - so that users remain ready to go almost always and everywhere with the scanners. The memory capacity includes 64 KB RAM and 8 MB flash ROM. Interfaces include Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR (Class 2), Bluetooth Low Energy 4.1 (BLE), micro USB, USB type C and serial.

Both the KDC470 and KDC475 are very light, weighing only 87g and 88g respectively, so they are easy to carry around all day. Plus, their compact dimensions make them easy to store. While the KDC470 measures 65 x 105 x 15.8 mm (W x H x D), the KDC475 is a little larger at 65 x 105 x 24 mm (W x H x D).

KOAMTAC KDC470 - 200715Barcode ReadingAt their base, the KDC470 and KDC475 are superior barcode scanners. Both the KDC470 and KDC475 are available in various models: 1D Laser, 1D CCD, and 2D Imager, so you can read a variety of barcodes in any industry. The KDC475 offers downward angled scan engines, allowing you to hold your device at level while scanning barcodes at a lower height. The KDC connects via Bluetooth Classic or Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) for easy pairing and data transfers.

RFID Companions - The RFID companions attach directly to your KDC creating a contactless radio frequency identification reader. The interface can be utilized for asset management and tracking whether those assets are people, animals, or inanimate objects. Options include High Frequency (HF), 0.5W Ultra High Frequency (UHF), or 1.0W UHF.
