Getac X500 Server

Briefcase-sized mobile operations center - be on-site quickly when it counts. Getac's X500 mobile server meets all the hardware requirements in the public safety, industry and military sectors: the X500 mobile server is designed to be a mobile operations center. That means everywhere where a reliable infrastructure for communication and data is quickly needed, without a lot of effort – such as in emergency situations, crisis regions and during large deployments of emergency personnel.

Getac X500 Server is a portable server is the size of a briefcase and is therefore extremely flexible and always comfortable to transport, since it weighs significantly less than nine kilograms. Its housing is certified according to MIL-STD-810G and IP65 standards. It is thus well protected against impacts, vibration, drops and the ingress of water and dust. Inside there is an Intel Xeon processor E3-1505M v6 with up to 4.0 GHz at work. Together with 32 GB RAM and the NVIDIA GeForce GTX950M graphics card, you may always expect top performance. A 500 GB hard drive is available standard for saving data. You may also expand the X500 mobile server with up to 5 TB RAID memory (RAID Level 0, 1 and 5). This allows you to easily and reliably implement data security measurements or benefit from increased transfer rates. The operating system Windows Server 2016 speeds up work processes via flexibly usable clustering functions, for the efficient use of resources.

The impressive 1,000 nits of brightness on the 15.6'' (39.6 cm) display also makes the details optimally readable, even outside in bright sunlight. The standard version offers a huge amount of interfaces, to ensure that the user may always rely on optimal connectivity, everywhere. Integrated are 1x PCMCIA (Type II), 1x Express Card/54, a smart card reader and an SD card reader. Plus: 2x RS232, 4x USB 3.0 and 2x gigabit LAN ports, and one each VGA, audio, microphone and HDMI port. The optional webcam allows for video conferencing. When it comes to security there is a fingerprint scanner, theft protection and a positioning system, to keep sensitive data from falling into the wrong hands.
