The ZM400 printer replaced the Z4Mplus and older Z-series printers, offering a large range of additional functions, facilitating sales in modern printer environments as well as industrial or production areas.
The ZM400 printer produces labels, tags or tickets by using direct thermal or thermal transfer technology in a width of up to 114 mm. If desired, it even prints on 991 mm long print medium.
The print speed of 254 mm per second at 8 dots/mm 203 dpi is almost unbeatable. Base, frame and the printhead mechanisms are made of aluminium, making them very light.
The compact housing and the dark colour make the printer more resistant to dirt. The sturdy metal chassis is durable and offers enough space for the 20.3 cm 8 supply roll.

Easier network integration The ZM400 offers advanced networking options over USB 2.0, a safe wireless 802.11b/g connection or the new Zebranet 10/100 MBit printserver, making simultaneous use of the parallel and network connection possible.
More printing options the new ZM series is available with the 200, 300 and 600dpi printing resolution post-upgradeable and offers XML-capable printing as well as the easy integration of RFID technology.
Easy application the optimised printers of the ZM series are user-friendly. While the ink ribbons and labels are replaced quickly, settings are changed in the LCD display with a backlight, while print heads and rolls are easily maintained.
